Gotta be the best lyrics on a Dylan album, Mr Tambourine Man has some of the most vivid imagery in music, Love Minus Zero is Dylan’s second best love song, and the last two songs on the album have to be two of Dylan’s best lyrical outputs. This is such a happy medium between Dylan’s later, more introspective, narrative-focused songs and his earlier protest stuff.
